A public tunnel, connecting Rimbo’s bus terminal with the high street, reimagined as an open-air living room. Built from dimensioned timber and reused concrete elements from Norrtälje Municipality’s storage, the furniture is designed to foster gatherings around long tables. On the ground, a painted trasmatta (rag rug) evokes domestic nostalgia while defining the boundaries of the designed space. Above, an elliptical light responds to the tunnel's existing pine forest ceramic artwork, bathing the room in the warm yellow glow of a summer sun.
